Welcome to Pack 70!

Cub Scout Packs 70 and 370

Pack 70 is part of the Sam Houston Area Council and the Copperhead District. Both Packs are active units with monthly activities that include camping trips, Pinewood Derby, Blue & Gold Banquet, and community service projects.

We teach the core values of scouting, and our goal is to provide an opportunity for scouts and their parents to participate in fun activities with other scouting families. Parents are required to participate in den and pack activities, and the entire family is encouraged to get involved in all pack functions.

Boys between the ages of 6 and 11, in grades Kindergarten thru 5th can join Cub Scouts throughout the school year.

***** Church membership is NOT a requirement to join ******

Cards for The Cottages

Posted on Apr 4 2020 - 9:07pm
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Pack 70 is collecting cards for the senior citizens at The Cottages, our adopted nursing home facility.
Scouts can draw a colorful picture, tell a joke/riddle, write a poem, etc., just something to let our elderly know that they are not forgotten.
Making a difference can be so simple, yet it can be incredibly impactful!
Participating Scouts will receive service hours and earn the Cards to Seniors patch.
Larita Merrit is the organizer of this service project. You may contact Larita at (409) 599-5214 to make drop off or mailing arrangements.
